"Split Frame of Reference" blog updates

Note: your teaser poster was unavailable with a server error 50something, when I tried to click to it. 8:19am Saturday.

Hehehehehe. Somewhat. I’d like to think far more complex and interesting, but sure.

And I posted the link below, let me know if it works.

The Hunger Games. Violence. Parents. Children. Controversy?

Check out the podcast I am on. It’s a doozy. And I’m told I have a sexy radio voice. Not as sexy as Jason’s, but I try.

William Barclay’s brief thoughts on why he is a convinced Universalist.

I found them interesting and quite simple.

Incidentally, did you ever post that article I wrote?

I don’t mind if you didn’t, but if you did I don’t know about it yet and I didn’t want you to think I was intentionally ignoring any feedback on it.

Hey Jason. We’re still developing the set up and trying to outline a projected few months in advance in accordance with various topics and pro/con elements. Your article will be used and I shall notify you wayyyy before it is. Sorry about that.

–Nick

Hey ya’ll. I’m not certain that this topic is of much relevance, but since Glenn Peoples and Tom Talbott debated here in the past, I figure it might spark some interest. Glenn offers his case for physicalism within the Incarnation of Jesus.

A very interesting case. I’m on the fence regarding dualism/physicalism, but I found this to be quite interesting. INteresting in the sense of repetitious repetition. :nerd:

SEX.

Naw. Just wrote that to get your attention.

This article, written by my good friend Calvin, actually delves into the issue of sex, virginity and how the Church can manipulate both. It’s well worth your time, and we’d love to hear your thoughts.

Rob Bell & Universalism

Well, he’s not a universalist. But I figured I’d explain a bit more. :unamused:

I thought this was excellent. Good food for thought.

Yeah. Very eye-opening.

I found this response to Mark Galli of Christianity Today (writer of God Wins, a response to Bell’s Love Wins) essay on “Christus Victor.” Needless to say, the blogger I found was less than impressed. I hold to CV as well, and found the original article lacking and the critique well founded.

Christus Victor is the only approach to Christology that makes any sense to me, and it fits well with universalism.
