A New Day

At the very bottom I'm last
Music of insanity is now past
I danced the spiral to death
To my heartbeat's last breath
Before the battle began I lost
And didn't even count the cost
Stripped bare with no personality
In union with Ultimate Reality
Empty inside I see your smile
Will you shine in me for awhile?
Vision sets I see shades of beauty
More precious than gold or ruby
Wings fold the race has been run
Days of dawn are forever done
The eminently humble Christian is clothed with lowliness, mildness, meekness, gentleness of spirit and behavior. ~~ Jonathan Edwards
