Here’s a BBC story, I’ve shared on Twitter today:
President Trump sued for blocking people on Twitter
This one is totally ridiculous. And I side with Trump on this.
But this one I shared today, I side with the tech firms:
Tech firms unite for ‘net neutrality’ protest
Truthfully, the world is out of balance. But we don’t have to be. As a Christian, I learned some great lessons. By hanging out, with other spiritual groups.
From the Native American medicine men and women, i learned how to live in balance. And how to live, in harmony with nature.
From the Buddhists, I learned how to walk the middle path - between extremes And how to mediate and still my mind.
From TRUE saints from the East, I learned how to carry out - what Christ is teaching. And to be more detached.
And from spiritual healers. That spiritual healing is alive and well today. You just need to find the “real McCoy”. No individual or group, has a monopoly on it. And there is no conflict, from tapping into different, spiritual healing modalities.
I learned more about life, from the above sources…then all my years, taking courses in philosophy, theology, literature and psychology. These will teach me, how to construct frameworks - to understand reality. But not how to live it.
Like how to handle the person, in the health club. Who is a Die Hart Trump fan. And is really DaveB and Steve - on steroids. Well, someone suggested I should debate him. I said I would spend 2 hours at the club, when I came to work out. Since I said a couple nice things about Trump, he thinks I’m like him. But I’m not.
A “die-hard” Trump fan, is like the movie Forest Gump. Where Forrest asks Bubba, about the shrimping business. Or someone asks the die hard Trump fan, about Trump’s good qualities or examples of “fake news”. And both Bubba and the Die-hard Trump fan, finish several days later. Or was that weeks or months, in the Forest Gump movie? Well, anyway. They finish with something like, “this is all I know about…”
Yes, I have learned many things in life. But most about how to apply life, is learned outside of academia. Like how to tie the Celtic, Franciscan, Russian Orthodox - Holy Fools, and Joel Osteen, Christian traditions and messages - into a unified whole.
P.S. As a public service to this forum…I present this article, I shared on Twitter today. Put the Holy Fools tradition - into the office.
