i don’t find the bible very clear

Is this the passage you are looking for? Jesus sent out the 12 to proclaim the Kingdom of God to the Jews. He warned them that they would be persecuted. Then He said to them:

When they deliver you over [to the authorities], do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you. (Matthew 5:19,20)

problem being Erwan, that ‘‘everybody’’ claims the holy spirit is backing their understanding on a given topic !, yet most people when it comes to tightly held beliefs tend to throw common sense out the window. Yes the bible can and is often hard to understand, there is a degree of ambiquety about it to varying degree’s depending on the topic, so thats why a good approach is
allow some wiggle room !, that is destint however from an approach that ‘‘EVERYTHING’’ is up in the air. :wink:
