How To Live Under An Unqualified President by John Piper

In response to Paidion’s statements - I add this. I am a big fan, of the BBC News. And I read it online and watch it, for a half hour - each day - on TV. The UK and the US - are good friends. So they really don’t have any political bias (more or less), in reporting US news.

I"m an independent. Now that Trump is in, let him take the ball - and run with it. As long as he doesn’t do anything, that compromises older Americans…And the AARP has no issues…I let him do his thing.

Folks can always vote in, a bunch of Democrats - during the midterms.

Someone mentioned the Trump cult here. I am a big, virtual fan…of the tribulation and the Zombie Apocalypse - cult message. AND I AM PROUD OF IT :exclamation:

However. I am open minded, regarding some sort of AI Apocalypse - occurring simultaneously.

I suspect Trump is a Zombie and everyone he brought into the WH are Zombies. Perhaps Muellar should investigate this!!

   At least maybe that would give him something else to chew on, seeing the Russia thing seems to be landing on HIM and his buddies instead of on its intended target.

I don’t remember who said that. Mussolini or Lenin or Stalin or someone like that, but they all run together. Russia is clearly exploding in the “wrong” court, so now they’re going to have to attempt “obstruction of justice.” It might work as a legal fiction–even to throw people in jail–for obstructing a “justice” that was intent on prosecuting the wrong person for something that wouldn’t have been a crime had they done it but WAS a crime in the way that they themselves actually did do it. :unamused: If you wrote a spy novel like this, no one would read it because it would just be too, too ridiculous to allow anyone to “suspend reality” in order to enjoy the read.

Zombies (let alone AI) would be so much easier to believe than what is in fact happening in DC.

Here is a photo known to be that of Colbie Holderness, one of Rob Porter’s former wives.

But I suppose Mr. Trump’s supporters will definitely state that she received the black eye in some way other than being struck by Porter.

Finally, when Mr. Trump was called upon to comment on the allegations of Porter’s former wives, he said, “I’m surprised—greatly surprised, but I wish him well.” He then went on to tell what a good job Porter had done. Then he said, “He has denied the allegations. Remember that.” So if Mr.Trump believes the abuse never took place, then it is almost certain that his supporters will believe the same.

I’m a supporter and i believe Porter’s wives and that the WH messed up. Next case!

Always accuse the OTHER of the thing of which you are yourself guilty."

The shrinks call it projecting or just being a Democrat  Hitler said if you keep telling a lie enough times it becomes believed. Sadly he was right.

IF he did it, Don, he has to face the consequences. YOU don’t know if he did it.
Your cult of never-Trumpers are too quick to believe anything anti-Trump.

I did find a book on Amazon. It got 5-star ratings and reviews, from readers. I hope to get a copy, via the public library. It might help, with the issues here.

Only Dead on the Inside: A Parent’s Guide to Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse

How would that help?

Everyone would be focused on, preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse. And nobody would have time, for domestic abuse and other things.

NO FACTS of any kind that puts Trump in a bad light, makes the slightest difference to the Cult of Trumpery. Like Mr. Trump himself, his fanatic supporters immediately dismiss those facts as “false news.”

Well… I’m finished arguing about this. What I or anyone else says that questions Trumps ways and words, makes no difference whatever to most Trump supporters.

However, I WILL affirm that I don’t oppose Trump as a person. Rather, I oppose some of his policies, and most of his ludicrous words and “solutions.” I was concerned that his words about wiping out North Korea (and which North Korea took as a threat) might result in nuclear war. But it appears (at least for the time being) that North Korea isn’t going to take the first step in such a war. I’m sure the world rejoices in that!

Best wishes to you and to all Trump supporters! I sincerely wish that Mr. Trump were, in fact, all that you believe him to be.

You know Don, that is a pretty nice post and I tend to agree with some of it. But if we look at DJT as a new entity, not like other presidents before him, we may see a ruffling of the ranks, and much of his vocabulary and demeanor are toward that end. This is the very thing many people here in the US are looking for. They like it

Folks might think I’m strange. When I talk about the tribulation and the Zombie Apocalypse. But look at this news item, from the BBC today. :open_mouth:

Stormy Daniels: Trump lawyer admits paying porn star

Now, which is worse? The Trump cult or the Zombie Apocalypse cult

At least the latter is performing a great service - for humanity.

And all you AI Apocalypse promoters…might be interested, in this BBC story:

I get the feeling you think all Trump supporters have red necks and are missing many teeth and are married to their cousins? I know quite a few and it’s not about Trump , it’s about his policies vs the Democrats policies. Like economic growth, secure borders and strong military. Sounds radical doesn’t it, or as the Dems often claim, racist!!

Well, here’s something to rejoice about???

Well, the creators are exercising their “artistic license”. I used to work in Chicago - years back. It was in the field of software engineering. And I took out a membership, to the Chicago Art Museum. During the lunch hour, I would go hear an" expert" speak. They would take a museum display or exhibit - and talk about it. Some exhibit items would strike me as shocking. But the “expert” had no issues with them.

Which is actually the subject, of a Twilight Zone episode at Eye of the Beholder

Which raises DEEP philosophical questions, about what is beautiful - and what is not. Which I am also raising. As an artist, as well as an armchair philosopher and theologian.

Here’s the full 22-minute episode - commercial free.

So, the majority of recent posters don’t seem to like Trump or his policies!

I suggest a trade.

We Canadians will take Trump. But in return you must take Justin Trudeau along with the entire bunch of Liberals who have no idea how to run a country. That’s an offer too good to turn down.

“There are none so blind as those who will not see” - John Heywood, 1546.

As British Prime Minister, Harold McMillan said in 1957; “You have never had it so good”.

Are we on?

If we got your guy, we would all have to use words like ‘peoplekind’ - gads. I’m not in for the trade, sorry…

I am very sorry for you, my brother Invernessian. We however have already had our share of pretty-boy chief executives. Not–DEFINITELY not up for another one. As for rednecks, these hardworking folks got their names from bending over the harvest in the heat of the day on their own farms. People who work hard to care for themselves and their families, in-other-words. People the democratic elite despise, save for their proper “purpose:” as cattle kept, fed, fattened for use at election day. Since many of the cattle have of late become rebellious, the elite class mean to import a whole new electorate. No. Just no.
